📢 PTE Test Changes Starting August 7, 2025—Complete Overview

Starting August 7, 2025, Pearson is introducing a brand-new format for the PTE Academic and UKVI exams. This change has led many test-takers to ask: “Where can I try out the updated format before taking the actual test?”
We’re excited to share that OnePTE is the first platform to offer full-length practice tests based on the latest PTE Academic/UKVI format. These new practice sets are already live and available for all users!
🧪 New PTE Question Types —Format & Timing Explained
In Respond to a Situation, you’ll be given a scenario and 10 seconds to prepare your response. Then, you’ll have 40 seconds to speak clearly and appropriately for the situation.
For Summarize Group Discussion, you’ll listen to a short group conversation upto 3 minutes and take notes. You’ll then have 10 seconds to prepare and 2 minutes to deliver a summary of the key points discussed.
