Exam Tips

This is the hardest question in the Reading Section. It has specific tips, like looking for pronouns, but what really helps is having good reading skills and understanding of language. Without strong comprehension skills, it’s tough to get a perfect score on this type of question.

Time Span

RO is a type of question where you can earn many points, but it’s also very tricky. If you’re confident about your answer, you can spend up to 2 minutes on each question. If you’re not sure, it’s okay to spend only 1.5 minutes and give a quick answer. This way, you’ll have more time for the FIB questions that come after.

Practice Task

If you can’t get 2 points in each question, start by practicing FIB questions first. This can help you understand this type of question better. Don’t focus on this question type until you’ve practiced FIB enough. Make sure you meet the standards for a specific grade level. You can practice on the OnePTE app on Android or iOS, or on our website too.
