About

In the test, you’ll listen to a talk or conversation, which usually lasts about 60 to 90 seconds. After that, you have to pick the right answer from the options given. Usually, there are either one or two questions like this.

Time span

Listening Multiple-choice (single answer) questions don’t give many points in the Listening Section. So, try to finish them quickly to focus on more important tasks like WFD. If you’re confident about your answer, you can spend up to 1.5 minutes on each question while the audio is playing. But if you’re not sure, don’t waste too much time. Just make a guess right after the audio ends and move on to the next question.

Practice Objective

Before the audio starts, read the question carefully. Then, listen to the audio, paying attention to the important parts that will help you answer the question. This way, you’ll be more prepared to pick the right answer.

Practice Task

Before you do a mock or real test, try doing a whole set of questions to get used to them. You can use the OnePTE app on Android, or iOS, or website for practice. Also, remember to manage your time well.
