PTE Integrated Scoring System: Some questions in PTE test different things like listening, speaking, reading, and writing. For example, Read Aloud (RA) tests both speaking and reading. This system makes scoring fairer and more complete.

Here’s a breakdown of PTE’s Integrated Scoring System by One PTE:

PTE Score Report

This score report reflects a genuine PTE assessment. It comprises three sections.

a. Personal Information

First, it shows your personal details. Then, there’s a photo of you taken right before the exam.

b. Overall Score

Rahul got 90 points overall. The total score can be between 10 and 90 points.

c. Scores

There are two parts: “communicative skills” scores and “enabling skills” scores.

Communicative skills scores are important for showing how well you can use language. They decide if you can get a visa or enter college. For instance, to apply for Permanent Residency in Australia, you need at least 65 points in each communicative skill. This can give you 10 extra points in their system.

The enabling skills scores aren’t used for getting into university or getting a visa. But they help you see how well you did in speaking and writing. Pronunciation and fluency scores show how good you are at speaking overall. Spelling, grammar, vocabulary, and written discourse scores show how well you did in writing and listening parts like SST (Summarize Spoken Text).
